  1. OK I am watching Swan Song and I was waiting for this: Baby was ‘born’ on 4/24/67.

I wonder if ‘show’ is going to have a 50h birthday party.

I started thinking about that this week and I ‘have’ Swan Song but was waiting to check the story out in ‘real time.’

  2. I was just on a fiction site and was reminded that this year is the 50th anniversary of BABY.

I should dig out Swan Song to get her actual birth date.

  3. You know, CC, I think Dean should hold out for ‘everybody’ like Ellen and Jo and Pamela and Ash and Bobby and, yes, Charlie. Now all these people died for something they believed in so I don’t know if they would want to be alive again. (Oh and Rudy, that IS on Dean.)

So I could ‘see’ Dean making a deal with Michael that included everybody he wanted to come back to come back (hey, bring back the Styne kid).

I think Sam’s ‘plan’ will fail because Sam’s plans generally don’t come thru (something ‘always’ happens) so much lately.

  4. Next week’s episode… err… the synopsis has Sam coming up with a nephilim solution, Cas having a different plan, Kelly also having a plan… meanwhile Dean is mad about losing his favorite toy. WTF.
Still pretty sure that we are heading to Michael vs Lucifer because the last episode about two brothers on different sides with one ending up dead sure wasn’t subtextual reference about Dean and what’s his name.

Michael will want his true vessel. Maybe he will whisper to Dean about resurrecting a recently dead loved one to sweeten the pot.

    1. I dunno. Dean is clearly having second thoughts about his mother’s resurrection (though I do hope the writers get their heads out of their asses and give her a more permanent storyline). Not sure he’d respond to Michael’s whispering to him about that.

I was thinking today–why did both Chuck and Lucifer claim that Michael was too insane to help with Amara? Could it be that Chuck visited Michael and Michael told him to go play on the freeway? I mean, Lucifer is anything but the most stable being on the planet, so ‘scuse me if I don’t buy that Michael is worse off, any more than I buy that he is Lucifer’s younger brother. If Michael whispered *that* to Dean, it might be something Dean believes and would anger him against Chuck again.

      1. Yeah. I doubt he is incompetent and crying mess per Lucifer’s description. If so why would he bother to kill Rowena to prevent the cage being opened. I don’t think Lucifer was afraid of being put back in… he is too much of an egomaniac to believe TFW could manage that. IMO he didn’t want Michael out.

Michael may be mad as hell and not taking it anymore. He would be a dangerous rogue element.

At any rate, I don’t see any other way to get rid of Lucifer rising (again) but Michael and his Lance and that means Dean. A Michael playing by the rules let Dean choose. A Michael that says f@#! The rules will figure out a way to get Dean to say yes and loved ones in danger/dead have been they key to Dean.

And logically there is no reason to rehash Apocalyptic characterizations and plot points unless they were rehashing Micharl vs Lucifer and the only reason to do that is to have Dean-Michael. Even with the gratuitous Sam pimping, Michael would consider Sam an abomination. Hell let the lol kill Sam and then Dean says yeshe.

Last season the cage was damaged enough for Lucifer to influence Sam. Michael should be able to do the same to Dean.

I think Dean is hurt l, and has lost his childlike illusions about her, however he still loves his momma and would not want to see her dead. I think he is putting up with the lol to protect her and Sam, and to remain close to them. If it weren’t for his family Dean would have nothing to do with them.

Lol won’t be the cliffhanger… as soon as hunters start dying Mary will cotton on to the new agenda or Dean will.
I guess that Lucifer escaping or the nephilim birth putting characters in danger will be the cliffhanger.

I still think we will see Dean Michael.

  5. I watch The Magicians on occasion (I wish the show concentrated better on its light-hearted bits than on the overwhelming disaster that is every character’s life) and I want to know how SyFy (which I believe is ‘basic cable’) can have various characters utter the F-word. At one time it was bleeped, but other times the character says F, and then they bleep the NEXT word.

    Very strange.

I avoided Dr Who during the Clara years but I watched this weekend and really liked it. Like Bill the new companion a lot. Watched Class (a show from ‘the Dr Who universe’) but it confused the living daylights out of me. I also had problems with the accents. But Yeah, WHO is back. Best episode for me since The Doctor’s Wife. Scariest antagonist since The Weeping Angels were introduced.
