Sci-fi Spoilerpalooza

The CW’s superhero shows (Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow) were at Paleyfest this past weekend and TV Line, and EW have up the recaps for the event.

EW has up an interview with Melissa Benosit and Grant Gustin on their recent crossover.

Doctor Who: Unearthed from the Comic Relief vaults, you can find the 1999 Doctor Who Comic Relief special “The Curse of Fatal Death,” which starred Rowan Atkinson, Richard E. Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant and Joanna Lumley as the Doctor! It was written by Steven Moffat. Digital Spy is reporting a return to three-parter stories.

Fear the Walking Dead: In behind-the-scenes news, showrunner Dave Erickson will be stepping down in the third season.

The Flash: TV Line has up an interview with Candice Patton and Grant Gustin on the latest relationship drama and the past musical episode. The show is adding actress Anne Dudek in a recurring role as Tracy Brand, who is described as “a smorgasbord of quirky idiosyncrasies.”

Grimm: TV Line has up an interview with series star David Giuntoli on the penultimate episode and the coming series finale.

The Inhumans: Comic Book.com has up some video and photos of set scenes of Black Bolt being arrested by the police.

Legends of Tomorrow: EW has up an article with some interviews on the team’s latest betrayal and where they go from there.

Lucifer: The show is seeing the final four of the twenty-two produced episodes for season two cut and held for season three.

Outcast: Spoiler TV has up the official synopsis for season two.

Orphan Black: Deadline has up a recap of the Paleyfest panel with some spoilers for the final season.

The Punisher: The show is adding actress Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio to their cast.

Sleepy Hollow: TV insider has up an interview with executive producer Albert Kim on the penultimate episode and the coming season finale. TV Line has up one with Kim as well on the new Henry’s motives.

Supergirl: Deadline is reporting that Katie McGrath is being promoted to series regular for season three.

The Walking Dead: TV Insider has up some spoilers from the show’s recent appearance at Paleyfest.

Westworld: The show has promoted Talulah Riley to series regular in season two. EW has up a recap of the show’s Paleyfest appearance.

Over at EW, the latest Spoiler Room has a spoilers on shows Grimm, Supergirl, The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow.

Supernatural (Thursday nights, 8pm, CW)

It’s official! The show has been renewed for a 13th season. This may well be (by a couple of weeks) the earliest renewal Supernatural has ever received.

The show has moved to 8pm. Still on Thursdays.

The season finale is May 18. The show will air back-to-back episodes that night, so it appears there will be a single-week hiatus after this one (possibly when Riverdale airs its season finale on May 11).

The repeats last week were “Stuck in the Middle (With You)” (12.12) and “Family Feud” (12.13), which got a 0.2/1 and 0.88 million and a 0.3/1 and 0.82 million respectively.

“Regarding Dean” (12.11) didn’t show up in the L+3s or L+7s.

“Stuck in the Middle (With You)” (12.12) in its original broadcast rose from 1.811 million to a 2.772 million in the L+7s.
