About Paula R. Stiles
A Quickie Bio
Possessing a quixotic fondness for difficult careers, Paula R. Stiles has driven ambulances, taught fish farming for the Peace Corps in West Africa, and earned a Scottish PhD in medieval history, studying Templars and non-Christians in Spain.
Currently Editor in Chief and Copy Editor of Lovecraft/Mythos 'zine Innsmouth Free Press, Paula Stiles has also published hundreds of articles; 40 science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories; urban fantasy novel, The Mighty Quinn; a non-fiction history book, Templar Convivencia: The Templars and Their Associates in 12th and 13th Century Iberia; and a supernatural mystery novel, Fraterfamilias, co-written with Judith Doloughan. Its sequel, Confraternitas, is due out next year.
Innsmouth Free Press is a triannual online 'zine and micro-publisher of novels and anthologies dedicated to horror and dark fiction. The website provides daily non-fiction set in H.P. Lovecraft's beautiful and eerie Innsmouth, Massachusetts. Publisher: Silvia Moreno-Garcia.
